Pressure switch used in refrigeration systems

Pressure switch is an electric pressure switch. The pressure is adjusted by means of a screw. In some models the pressure differential (difference between the disengagement pressure and the reset pressure) is adjustable. The reset can be automatic or manual.

Can be classified in:

- Low pressure switch, which switches off when the suction pressure becomes lower than a certain value;
- High pressure switch, which switches off when the discharge pressure becomes higher than a certain value;
- High and low pressure switches, which combines the two previous types in a single device;
- Differential pressure switch for the control of the pressure of the lubricating oil of the compressors, which switches off when the difference between the pressure of the pump and the sump of the compressor is insufficient for proper lubrication.
