In the condenser the heat rejection occurs, to the external air, absorbed by the refrigerating fluid in the refrigerator compartment and in the compressor.
Of the total heat rejection in the condenser, 75% were absorbed in the
evaporator and 25% absorbed in the compressor. These percentages vary with the type of system, condensing and evaporation temperature and type of refrigerant applied.
The condenser consists of a set of carbon steel tubing, fixed in wire, painted in black and serpentine-shaped, located on the back of the residential refrigerator.
