You can only use air defrost, cameras with a temperature higher than 2ºC.
The system is very simple. Coolant feed is closed to the evaporator, keeping the fan running. The air is melting the accumulated ice. It is a slower, more economical process and does not require any special equipment or accessory in the refrigerant circuit beyond normal operation.
In large installations using ducts and evaporators in shares that can be isolated from the chambers, a system is used that circulates outside air through dampers. This system makes the process faster and can be used and can be used in cameras with temperature below 2ºC.
