Important Components for Installing a Cooling System

Dryer Filter: installed in the liquid line, filters and dehumidifies the refrigerant.

Solenoid Valve: installed in the liquid line after the filter drier, prevents liquid flood in the compressor when it is stopped. It can be of the type normally closed or open.

Liquid Visor: installed in the liquid line after the solenoid valve, is used to visualize the refrigerant charge and also allows to detect the humidity of the system, through the indicator itself.

Pressure switch: installed in the discharge and suction of the compressor, protects the system against high / low pressures, turning it off, when necessary.

Suction accumulator: installed in the suction line, the refrigerant coming from the evaporator is retained by pressure difference, thus avoiding liquid stroke, also known as liquid separator.

Oil Separator: installed in the discharge, is to ensure that the oil taken from the compressor along with the refrigerant, is separated and returned to the compressor.
