One of the characteristics of the good functioning of the compressors is the discharge temperature. Especially with ammonia, the temperature can become too high, damaging the lubrication with consequent premature wear of the material such as valves, rings, etc.
To avoid this situation, use a cooling head, usually with water.
For ammonia, do not exceed 135ºC.
