Saturation Temperature

The term designates the temperature at which a pure substance vaporizes at a given pressure. This pressure is called Saturation Pressure for the given temperature. For water, for example, at 100ºC, the saturation pressure is 1.033 kgf / cm² or, with water at 100ºC, the saturation pressure is 1.033 kgf / cm².
For a pure substance there is a well-defined relationship between the saturation pressure and the saturation temperature.
