1. When you remove the flange nut from the tube of the indoor unit (always use a spanner), a small amount of gas will escape, but this is only nitrogen that was
sealed to prevent corrosion and does not mean a problem exists.
2. Flange the tube according to the technical procedure.
3. Centering
Center the tubes by placing the adhesive tape part of the half joint on the flanged part of the tube.
4. Tightening the flange nut
First, hand tighten the flange nut as far as possible and then use a wrench to fully tighten the nut.
The tightening has to be with two spanners
Turn the flange nut with a wrench
Hold the half joint in place with a wrench
Note:
- At the beginning, avoid tightening the nut with a wrench.
- When tightening a pipe with a diameter of 6.4mm, tighten it slightly with a wrench and then tighten the nut by about 90º to 120º (1.5 to 2 corners of the nut) with a wrench.
