Why and how does the decrease of the COP in an air cooled condenser of refrigeration system occur?

 In order to cool the refrigerant to air, the fluid must be above ambient temperature which will require a high pressure and consequently will require a higher rate of compression by the compressor. We are spending more power causing the COP to decrease.
