Temperature sensors transform a physical quantity (Temperature) into a
(Ôhmica Resistance), based on the principle that metals vary their resistance as the temperature at which they are subjected varies.
The sensors used in split air conditioner equipment are of the NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient) type, ie negative temperature coefficient. The ohmic resistance presented is inversely proportional to temperature.
As for the application, the sensors can be ambient (measure the temperature of the air) and those of serpentine (it measures the temperature of the tube where they are fixed).
