Components of an electronic board used in Split type air conditioners

Microcontroller: this component is the brain of the board, where is stored the Software that stores information such as, automatic restart; protection against freezing of the internal evaporator; protection against high internal evaporator temperature.

Sensors: Its function is to communicate the electronic board to the current operating temperature. In order that it is in charge of turning the cooling system on or off. The commonly used sensors are of the NTC type (negative temperature coefficient).

Motor fan internal evaporator unit: responsible for the rotation of the turbine can work at speeds ranging from 900 to 1200 RPM. In some Split type air conditioners, the capacitor is located on the board itself, diagnosed as defective in the same plate replacement is recommended.

Synchronous motor: responsible for the movement of the air directing fin. Its power supply is 12 DCV.

Condensate pump: found in evaporators type cassette pump voltage 220 ACV with a level switch.

Control transformers: responsible for voltage reduction for plate operation. The primary 220 ACV and the secondary 13,5 DCV.

Display: responsible for receiving information from the remote control and sending it to electronic board, it also performs the function of emergency flag and fault diagnosis.

Emergency mode: This function is used if the remote control battery is discharged or damaged. To activate the Emergency Mode, go to the internal unit and press the button, located on the console panel or on the electronic board itself.
