Type “D” fuses are assembled in conjunction with other components that minimize the risk of electric shock to the operator through accidental contact during replacement with live parts.
This assembled assembly can be fixed to the control cabinet chassis by rail or bolted directly to it. It has an adjusting screw that limits the application of larger fuses in the circuit while preserving design specifications.
