Delayed Action Fuses

In this type of fuse, the fusion of the link should not occur when it fuses short-term overloads, so it will only fuse when subjected to long-term overload or short-circuit currents.
These fuses are designed to protect inductive or capacitive loads (motors, transformers, capacitors, inductors in general) as these types of loads generate considerable current and voltage variations in the circuits to which they are connected.
