The fundamental difference between this refrigerator and the traditional one is that it does not have a compressor, because the compressor is replaced by a heater that raises the temperature and pressure of the refrigerant (ammonia NH3).
This cooling system is used in small (portable) refrigerators, having as main disadvantage its low energy efficiency.
