Servicing the hose and drain pan of the refrigerator

The condenser fan is located at the bottom of the refrigerator. During the defrost cycle, water can flow through a small hose into a drain pan and evaporate naturally.
In some coolers, the drain hose is rubber rather than metal. This type of hose may have cracks and cause leaks. Check the hose. If it is damaged, replace it with a new one of the same type. If there is water on the floor, the drain pan may be out of the holder, cracked or rusty. To eliminate leakage, realign or replace the tray.
