Reciprocating compressor
It is the type of compressor that compresses the air, with a system similar to a car piston. That is why the noise level is higher, with greater wear of the parts (shorter life cycle) and the need for greater energy consumption to perform the work.
Rotary compressor
It is one whose components exert a very low friction to perform the function, providing a lower noise level and maximum energy efficiency, that is, reduced energy consumption.
