Drain for split air conditioner

In a good split installation it is very important to define how the water produced by the condensation of water vapor dissolved in the air over the cold coil will be drained. The drainage pipe must be made with PVC pipes with a minimum diameter of 25mm. The existence of a siphon must be guaranteed, thus preventing the entry of insects and gases into the environment. When the equipment has a reverse cycle (hot-cold), we must also provide a drain pipe for the condensing unit.
