What is cold?

Cold is the relative absence of heat in a body or environment. Every body with a temperature above - 273 ° C (absolute zero) contains heat.
Cold decreases vital functions; thanks to this property, a fair dose of cold preserves food.
Cold is not produced, heat is displaced; a perfect cooling system is capable of maintaining a temperature inside a cold chamber below that of the external environment.
Cooling a body means removing heat from it.
