Solar Collector

When the sun's rays pass through the glass of the collector's cover, they heat up the fins that are made of copper or aluminum and painted with a special dark paint that helps in the maximum absorption of solar radiation. The heat then passes from the fins to the tubes (coil), which are usually copper. Hence the water inside the coil heats up and goes directly to the solar heater reservoir.
The collectors are manufactured with noble raw materials, such as copper and aluminum. They receive careful thermal insulation and are also sealed with silicone rubber. They have a smooth glass cover and are installed on roofs or slabs, always as close as possible to the thermal reservoir.
The number of collectors to be used in an installation depends on the size of the thermal reservoir, but it can also vary according to the level of sunshine in a region or even according to the installation conditions.
