These contactors are mechanically and electrically sized to withstand the electrical current intensity required by the load during startup and operating regime, with a high operating frequency, while respecting the employment category and other important basic aspects.
These contactors typically have 3 (main) power contacts that receive a numbering, nomencature, standard for their 1 (L1), 3 (L2), and 5 (L3) input terminals and 2 (T1), 4 (T2) and 6 (T3) for output. They also have normally open and / or closed auxiliary contacts that are used in the control logic to ensure the operating conditions, interruption and interlocking of loads.
The auxiliary contacts of the power contactors follow the same numbering rule applied to the switches and buttons.
