What is overheating?

Overheating is the temperature difference between the evaporator inlet and outlet, ie the difference between evaporation temperature (Tev) and the suction temperature (Tsb) measured at the point where the thermostatic bulb of the expansion valve is attached. Note: Systems with larger suction lines such as industrial, chambers, supermarkets, it is convenient to obtain the suction temperature as close as possible to the compressor service valve.
