(1) Install the outdoor unit without anything blocking the exhaust air.
(2) When the outdoor unit is installed in a location constantly exposed to strong winds, such as a coastal area or on a high floor of a building, ensure the normal operation of the fan, using a duct or wind protection.
(3) In windy areas, install the unit to prevent wind from entering. Installation in the following locations may cause problems.
Do not install the unit in such places.
• locations filled with machine oil.
• a place full of sulfur gas.
• a place where there is a possibility of generating high-frequency waves such as radio equipment, welders, and medical equipment.
