Ceiling treatment
The ceiling differs according to the structure of the building. For details, consult the builder or contractor in charge of internal finishing. After the roof cover is removed, it is important to reinforce the roof structure and maintain the correct leveling to avoid vibration of your roof.
(1) Cut and remove the roof structure.
(2) Reinforce the cut surface of the roof structure and attach it to secure the end of the roof cover.
Suspension screw installation
Use M10 or W3 / 8 suspension bolts (4 pieces, required on site). Combining with the existing structure, adjust the inclination according to the size that the manufacturer guides.
Indoor unit suspension
Adjust the position of the nut (bottom side) so that the gap between the washer (bottom side) and the roof plate is 118mm.
• Suspend the main unit by the suspension pin nut to the T slot of the main unit's suspension bracket.
• Using the level bottle, etc. adjust the horizontal level of the main unit to 5mm.
• Using the installation meter, check and adjust the relationship of positions between the main unit and the ceiling opening hole and the suspension height of the main unit. (The direction to be used is indicated in the manufacturer's installation manual).
(1) Check that the underside of the indoor unit is placed 25mm higher than the lower surface of the ceiling plate. (4 corners)
(2) Check that the clearance between the side of the indoor unit and the ceiling plate is 30mm. (Common to the 4 corners)
Note: Connect the panel and ceiling surface parts and the panel and the indoor unit. If there is a gap, air leakage can cause condensation or water leakage.
