Thermal insulation is the ability of a material to reduce the entry or exit of heat from one environment to another. Polyester, fiberglass, styrofoam, drywall, vertical gardens, brises and cobogós are some examples of materials and structures used in thermal insulation for walls.
In colder places, such as countries in Europe, insulation is used to preserve heat within different spaces, such as houses, offices and entire buildings. This results in less use, for example, of heaters.
In turn, in places with high temperatures, especially in the summer, thermal insulation ensures milder temperatures inside buildings. This also contributes to energy savings with equipment such as air conditioners.
