Its function is to distribute the refrigerant in equal proportions through the various sections of the evaporator tube, allowing an immediate heat absorption efficiency, just after the compressor starts.
The manifold is installed at the outlet of the expansion valve. The pipes that are to be welded must be of the same length so that there is no deficiency in the supply of the refrigerant to the evaporator.
