Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump for about 30 minutes
Close the log and check that the low pressure gauge indicates 28 to 30 InHg wait a few minutes and note if the reading remains unchanged.
Install the cylinder containing refrigerant R-134a in the register. From a brief purge to remove the uncondensable vapors from the hose.
With the system compressor off, inject approximately 60 PSI of refrigerant.
Close the log and turn the system on, gauge pressure should drop, complete the load leaving it between 5 to 7 PSI for coolers, between 0 to 5 PSI for freezers and 13 to 17 PSI for drinkers
The load will be complete when:
The evaporator is completely frozen.
The heated condenser
The filter is partly warm.
The cold suction line
The nominal current of the equipment within the manufacturer's specifications.
