Solenoid Valve in Cooling Systems

The solenoid valve has the function of interrupting the fluid in moments when this becomes necessary. One of the main functions of the solenoid valve is to be used in the pump-down function.
A solenoid valve can be of two types:
1- Normally closed. In this case the valve is always closed and only opens when it receives electricity.
2- Normally open. In this case the valve is always open and only closes when it receives electricity.
Separation between the electrical and mechanical parts
Imagine that problem generated when solenoid electric winding presents problem. It would be necessary to remove all the solenoid and this would require a lot of manpower, even having to stir in the part of the refrigerating fluid. For this reason many manufacturers started to manufacture the solenoid with two separate pieces. This greatly simplified the job by avoiding too much unnecessary labor. In case of a defect, we only change the coil without having to move the rest of the system.
