Initially, make pressure test and eliminate any leaks;
Connect the vacuum pump on both the low and high pressure side;
Energize the crankcase resistance throughout the vacuum process;
Use reliable and precision vacuum gauges (manifold assembly does not fit!);
The vacuum reading must be made in the system and not in the vacuum pump!
Attain vacuum below 500 microns (0.67 mbar);
Isolate the pump circuit;
Wait at least 30 minutes;
If the pressure rises quickly, and does not stop, there are leaks. Find and start the process;
If the pressure rises and stabilizes above 500 microns, there is moisture. Break the vacuum with nitrogen and make a new vacuum;
If the pressure is stabilized at up to 500 microns for at least 1 hour, the system is well dehydrated and free of leaks. The vacuum of the circuit will be ready.
