- Select an appropriate position that allows all corners of the room to be uniformly conditioned and that facilitates the positioning of the refrigerant line and the drain.
- Make sure the ceiling, wall or floor is strong enough to support the weight of the indoor unit.
- Check that there are no obstacles to air flow both in the return and in the supply.
- The refrigerant tubes between the indoor and outdoor units must be kept as short as possible.
- The condensate water drain pipes must be short and always tilted outwards.
- The clearances recommended for the service are in the manufacturer's manual.
- Avoid areas that may have leaks of flammable gases;
- Do not position the unit directly in sunlight or other heat sources that may affect its capacity;
- Do not allow external air to enter the conditioned space, as high humidity may condense in the air discharge from the unit.
