1. Select a place to route the piping, wiring and drain hose between the indoor and outdoor units.
2. Drill with a circular saw or circular saw for drilling. Drilling should be done with a slight downward slope towards the outside. Before drilling, check the absence of pipes or posts behind the part to be drilled. Avoid places where electrical cables or conduits run.
3. Place the unit on a solid, level base.
4. The piping, wiring and drain hose for both floor and console-type assemblies can be routed from the rear from the right side of the unit, when it is placed in front and, for ceiling mounting, with direct downward orientation.
5. To access the electrical terminals and the drain and refrigerant piping, remove the return air grille forward.
6. Remove the air filters.
7. Remove the return air grille, press in the center of the plastic hook, unscrew the two end anchors to release them from their retainers.
8. Remove the screw from the lower grille hinges, pulling the screw out. Then push down on the panel, pulling it out.
9. For ceiling and console type mounting, remove the mounting brackets on both sides of the unit.
10. For ceiling and console type mounting, install the mounting bracket on the right side, on the left side of the unit and the mounting bracket on the left side, on the right side of the unit, in such a way that the flanges of the brackets come out to outside the unit.
11. Place or hang the unit according to the chosen position.
12. After finishing the wiring and piping installation, put the side covers in place.
