EVACUATION AND DEHYDRATION OF THE SEALED UNIT

In order to carry out a good evacuation and dehydration of the system, always use a suitable vacuum pump, high vacuum pump, and never use the compressor, as the dehydration of the system is based on lowering the boiling point of water to a temperature below room temperature through the depression generated by the pump, when using the compressor, this depression is not enough, keeping the boiling bridge of water at a temperature above room temperature. In addition to this measure, whenever possible evacuation through the high and low pressure sides of the system should be performed, thus reducing the time of this operation and achieving the best result, reaching a vacuum of up to 500mmHg (29.90 ”Hg - inch of mercury ), never less than 20 minutes at this level.
Note: It is recommended to install a check valve at the pump inlet, to prevent, in the event of a pump stop, that your oil is sucked into the system.
