• If there is a difference in height of more than 5 m between the units and the evaporator unit is at a lower level, a siphon must be installed in the suction line for every 3 m of unevenness.
• In installations where the evaporator unit is installed and the condenser unit on the same level or the evaporator unit is at the upper level, a siphon followed by an inverted "U" must be installed after the evaporator unit has exited the suction line. the top level of the evaporator should be in the same plane as the highest point on the evaporator. It should also be noted that there should be a small slope in the suction line in the evaporator-condenser direction.
