It is used in industrial refrigeration, especially in low temperature chambers and large facilities. This double system achieves greater speed in the defrost and also the advantage of washing.
The hot gas defrost is first started and only a few minutes later the water defrost.
It can be said that the two processes are completed, one coming from inside (hot gas) and the other from outside (water).
