What is Polyurethane?

Polyurethane is a rigid foam predominantly used in the thermal insulation technique as a result of the chemical reaction of a polyisocyanate which together with the expander gas are responsible for the high thermal insulation factor mainly for surfaces operating at low temperatures due to their low specific mass (density) and low coefficient of thermal conductivity.
