1. Symptoms
• The external fan motor does not turn.
• The external fan motor stops several times for ten seconds even though it has started to turn.
• The motor of the external fan rotates or does not rotate according to the position where the fan stopped, etc. Remote control verification code “02: external block, 1A: error in the external fan drive system”
2. Causes
When the fan motor does not turn, the following causes will be considered:
1) Mechanical locking of the external fan motor.
2) External fan motor bearing error
3) Error in the position detection circuit inside the fan motor.
4) Error in the motor drive circuit of the P.C. external plate
NOTE:
Although the error in the GND circuit inside the motor can be accepted in some cases when the check is performed.
When the fan motor does not normalize even with the replacement of the P.C. plate, replace the external fan motor.
