It consists of using electrical resistances that cross the fins maintaining a good contact with them. Some manufacturers use the system to introduce resistances into the tubes of the coils.
It is a simple system with a small initial investment but a high operating cost (consumption of approximately 100W / m2 of evaporator area). Perhaps the one with the highest operating cost. It is not widely used in industrial refrigeration especially in large installations.
