And what is the importance of a conductor's flexibility in residential electrical installations?

Generally, in residential installations, the conductors are threaded inside the conduits and pass through curves and passage boxes until they reach their final destination, which is, almost always, a 5 x 10cm or 10 x 10cm connection box installed on the walls or an octagonal box located on the ceiling or ceiling. In addition, on many occasions, there are several conductors from different circuits inside the same pipeline, which makes threading work even more difficult. In these situations, international experience has proven for many years that the use of flexible cables, with class 5, at least, significantly reduces the effort of threading the conductors in the conduits, also facilitating their eventual removal. Likewise, in recent years, Brazilian professionals have also increasingly used flexible cables in electrical installations in general and in residential ones in particular.
