Important Components for the Installation of the Refrigeration System

Filter Dryer: installed in the liquid line, filters and dehumidifies the refrigerant.
Solenoid Valve: installed in the liquid line after the filter drier, prevents liquid flooding in the compressor when it is stopped. It can be of the normally closed or open type.
Liquid Display: installed in the liquid line after the solenoid valve, it is used to visualize the refrigerant charge and also allows to detect the humidity of the system, through the proper indicator.
- In low temperature systems, such as ice maker, freezing chambers, etc., a suction accumulator must be installed,
- Pressurize through the process tube or valve and test for leaks with a minimum pressure of 250 psi and a maximum pressure of 350 psi using soap foam,
Pressure switch: installed in the discharge and suction of the compressor, protects the system against high / low
pressures, turning it off when necessary.
Suction Accumulator: installed in the suction line, the refrigerant from the evaporator is retained by pressure difference, thus avoiding liquid stroke, also known as liquid separator.
Oil Separator: installed in the discharge, it has the purpose of ensuring that the oil taken from the compressor together with the refrigerant, be separated and return to the compressor.
