The difference between PTC relay and current relay

The PTC (Solid State) relay has its technical design quite different from that of a Current. While a current relay comes into operation through moving parts that move as a function of the magnetic field generated by the copper coil on its exterior, a PTC relay uses a ceramic insert that allows or prevents the passage of electric current to the compressor starting coil in function of the temperature variation and ohmic resistance thereof.
