• Oil Compression: Before considering the perfectly functioning compressor, check that it is not compressing excess oil to the system; since all compressors compress an oil film. This check is performed by turning on the compressor and checking whether the discharge pipe is expelling or dripping oil.
• Noise: If metallic noise (friction between iron parts) is noticed during the operation of the compressor, the internal damper system of the compressor may be damaged or some internal component loose. In these cases, the compressor must be replaced.
• Compressor return: When it is verified that the compressor is to be replaced as a guarantee, proceed as described in the Technical Bulletin Compressors.
Because it is an ecological compressor (R134a), it comes equipped with ester oil, which has a high hygroscopicity index (the ability of a substance to absorb moisture), so it is imperative that the compressor tubes never be opened for a longer time to 15 minutes.
