We must take some care in the installation of the condenser unit so that the compressor does not present a defect, such as noise (impurities in the system, lack of oil), vane breakage (liquid blow) or engine burn, following the recommendations below:
- Use pipes in the correct diameters (low, high and liquid line),
- The tubes must be clean and with both ends sealed to prevent the entry of impurities,
- Cut and bend the tubes very carefully to avoid contamination of dust and metallic particles (do not use saw to cut the tubes),
- When opening the circuit, do it as soon as possible, so that the system is not exposed to contamination (air humidity),
- Always use silver or foscoper solder when welding the system:
Iron / copper = solder Silver
Copper / copper = Foscoper solder
- Never use the compressor to evacuate the refrigeration circuit, use a vacuum pump with a meter (vacuometer),
- Circulate nitrogen when welding, to avoid oxidation and impurities,
- Install a dryer filter in the liquid line, before the capillary or expansion valve (good filter
- Evacuate the system from the high and low side until it reaches 200 microns; to measure, use a vacuum meter (vacuometer) and not an ordinary manometer,
- Charge the system through the liquid display and subcooling,
- Leak test again with electronic detector,
- Measure high and low pressures, voltage at the compressor terminals, current and power, checking if the values are within the specified,
- If the evaporator is below the compressor and / or at a long distance, it is advisable to install an oil separator to ensure that it returns easier to the compressor,
- Leave space necessary for the installation of the condenser unit to avoid high pressures, ensuring good ventilation (place that does not have obstacles, covered, thus avoiding moisture and dust),
- Always install a siphon at the evaporator outlet, to facilitate oil return,
- The isolations of the chamber and the suction piping are directly linked to the system performance and reduction in energy consumption,
- Lifting of thermal load, calculations of evaporators and expansion valves are factors
vital to the system.
