How to regulate the thermostatic expansion valve in a cooling system in case it is necessary to regulate the superheat.

After starting the compressor, wait for the installation to come into equilibrium.
Remove the plug from the expansion valve and, with the same or appropriate wrench, turn the stem ¼ turn and wait for the cooling system to re-equilibrate.
Turning the control rod to the left (counterclockwise) decreases the overheating, the "X" point moves forward, increasing the evaporation pressure and the flow of the refrigerant.
Turning the regulating rod to the right (clockwise) increases overheating, the "X" point moves backward, decreasing evaporation pressure and cooling fluid flow.
