Scroll compressors are a new concept of refrigeration compressors. They are hermetic, they do not have access to their components and, in case of breakage or “burning”, they are replaced. They work more quietly and vibrate less than their competitors for the same power.
They are being widely used in medium-sized refrigeration systems.
