Screw Compressors

The Rotary Screw compressor consists of two spindles, one male and one female. One of these spindles is driven by the motor and the “engagement” of the two causes a rotation. The two spindles are mounted inside a housing and supported by bearing housings. Once sucked into the compressor the gas will be compressed by the movement of the two
spindles until the discharge is reached. Along this path the pressure will rise.
