Consequences of Inadequate Load Sizing in the Refrigeration System

· Insufficient load: they lead to low evaporation temperatures with partial use of the evaporator and lower refrigeration capacity, since the gas return will be less than the pumping capacity of the compressor.
· Excessive load: it will result in excessive condensation pressure, compressor overload, higher evaporation pressure and risk of liquid returning to the compressor. In compressors without a starting capacitor, it will result in “not starting” or opening the thermal protector.
