Internal components of the hermetic compressor used in air conditioners II

Rotor: the rotor is the rotating part of the engine. The rotor used in the compressor is of the cage type, formed by steel blades mounted in parallel and joined by cast aluminum. An axis is fixed longitudinally to the rotor so that its movement is transmitted to the connecting rod, which in turn will transmit it to the piston.

Shaft / Connecting Rod / Piston Assembly: the compressor piston drive system is made by the connecting rod system. The connecting rod transforms the rotation movement of the axis "crank system" (eccentric axis) in alternating movement transferring it to the piston. For this reason the compressors in question are referred to as "reciprocating compressors".

Valve Plate: the blades that form the discharge valve and the intake valve are attached to the valve plate. The function of these valves is to promote the aspiration of the refrigerant gas by the suction tube, compressing it through the discharge tube. When the piston is descending, the suction valve will remain open and the discharge valve will remain closed. When the piston is rising, the suction valve will be closed and the discharge valve will be open.

Connection Terminal: the electrical connection of the motor inside the hermetic compressor and the external network is made through the connection terminal, also called fusite. Observe the correct positioning of the coil terminals.
