Safety during installation / maintenance of the split air conditioner with refrigerant R-410A precautions:

 1. Never use refrigerant other than R410A in an air conditioner that is designed to work with R410A. If a refrigerant other than R-410A is mixed, the pressure in the refrigeration cycle will become too high, causing personal injury, etc. due to breaks.

2. Confirm the refrigerant name and use only tools and materials exclusive to the R-410A. The refrigerant name R410A is placed in a visible place on the external unit of the air conditioner. To avoid loading errors, the diameter of the service door differs from that of the R-22.

3. If a gas leak occurs during installation / maintenance, be sure to fully ventilate the room. If the gas comes into contact with fire, it can cause poisonous gas.

4. When installing or removing an air conditioner, do not allow air or moisture to remain in the refrigeration cycle. Otherwise, the pressure in the refrigeration cycle may become too high to cause ruptures or personal injury.

5. After finishing the installation work, check that there is no gas leak. If the refrigerant gas leaks into the environment, coming into contact with fire, in the heater moved by the fan, or in the heater location, etc. poisonous gases may occur.

6. When an air conditioning system loaded with a large volume of refrigerant is installed in a small environment, care must be taken that, even when the refrigerant leaks, its concentration does not exceed the limits. If the refrigerant gas leak occurs and its concentration exceeding the limits may cause accidents due to lack of oxygen.

7. Be sure to perform installation and removal according to the installation manual. Improper installation can cause problems with refrigerant, water leaks, electric shocks, fire, etc.

8. Unauthorized modifications to the air conditioner can be dangerous. If a fault occurs, please call an air conditioner technician or an electrician. Inadequate repairs can result in water leakage, electric shock and fire, etc.
