Multi-split air conditioner power wiring

 There are openings for wiring entry on both sides of the condenser unit and only one side on the unit. Install the wiring from the customer's power point directly on the condenser unit's electrical cabinet and from there, the motor of the ventilation module.

The unit feeder gauge must be sized to sum the maximum currents, that is, equal to 125% the maximum current of the largest compressor plus 100% of all other compressors and motors. The cables must be class 105 ° C or higher.

Do not forget to install the protective conductor (ground). The voltage supplied must be in accordance with the voltage on the nameplate. The voltage between the phases must be balanced within 2% of unbalance and the current within 10%, with the compressor running. Contact your local electrical supply company for correction of improper voltage or phase imbalance.

- The current unbalance calculation must be done in the same way as the voltage unbalance.

- The following may be causes of voltage unbalance:

 Bad contact (in meter contacts, electrical connections, loose wire, oxidized or carbonized conductor) Conductors of inadequate gauge

 Load unbalance in a three-phase supply system

 Control wiring: refer to the wiring diagrams to make control connections between the units and the control key in the field.
