The cleaning of the system must be carried out when the installation is carried out or when the electric motor of the compressor is burnt. When this happens, acid buildup and lubrication oil decomposition occurs.
For the removal of these components, the cycle should be washed with liquid refrigerant 141B in liquid state at high speed. After that, blow a pressure of about 30 psi of dry nitrogen to remove any traces of solvent that may have gotten into the circuit.
Note: To clean the system, remove the motor
compressor, filter and expansion device (capillary tube or restrictor tube).
