What is the Thermal Capacity of an Equipment?

For the study of refrigeration, we can define the thermal capacity of an equipment as the maximum amount of heat that a refrigerator can extract from each hour of work of the products contained in it.

The units of measure most used to measure the thermal capacity of an equipment are: Quilocaloria per hour (Kcal / h), British Thermal Unit per hour (BTU / h) and Refrigeration Ton (TR) which is the amount of heat required To fuse in a day, 1000Kg of ice.
