Procedures and Care for Flange Connection of split air conditioner with refrigerant R-410A

 a) Make sure that the flange and the junction parts are free of escarpments or dust, etc.

b) Align the processed surface of the flange with the joining shaft.

c) Tighten the flange with a wrench according to the indicated torque. The torque for the R-410A is the same as for the conventional R-22. Occasionally, when the torque is weak, gas leakage may occur. When it is strong, the flange nut may crack and thus allow its removal. When choosing the tightening torque, obey the values indicated by the manufacturers.

Note: When applying oil to the flange surface, be sure to use the oil specified by the manufacturer. If any other oil is used, lubricating oils can deteriorate and burn the compressor.
